I have always loved Lhasa Apso's.
My sister had some many years ago, and I always thought to myself that one day I would get one of these gorgeous little creatures....
We put our name down, and waited 2 years, and along came Dougal, who is the 'First Grand Champion to be Bred In New Zealand' a title of which we are very proud! Dougal has certainly proven himself as a stud dog, producing "In Show" winning progeny. We continue to watch his Kids and Grandkids in the show ring.
Having a Lhasa wasnt much different grooming wise, to having an OES, except the dog was MUCH smaller, and easier to handle. They are very much like an OES in nature, very laid back, and easy to work with.
We have bred sparingly to date, but have produced some Paddington multi "In Show' winning dogs. We have some more interesting breeding plans in the pipeline, so looking forward to hearing the patter of little feet again soon lol.
We are looking forward to spending many years ahead with this beautiful breed.
