How disappointing, I want to own a Lhasa & a Shihtzu but reputable breeders will not allow this to happen. Yet some breeders have both breeds. Maybe the breeders should practise what they preach, and only keep one breed themselves. Have managed this week to give a rescue Shihtzu a wonderful home.

You say you are disappointed, Angela... I too am disappointed....
This is the 2nd message you have left, the one below is quite different lol...
This is a public guestbook... surely the email of frustration you sent me was more than enough, many people including Breeders, read these messages...
Maybe.... prospective puppy owners need to do their research properly, instead of forwarding on the misguided information they have (commonly known as hearsay or gossip) regarding reputable Breeders... Without hesitation I will protect my friend/mentor should the occasion arise...
One of my priorities as a Breeder, is to do my best to find the most suitable homes for my puppies, & any prospective puppy owners I regard as unsuitable, will not get a puppy.... end of story.
I have no problem as to the number of Breeds, or dogs, that you or anyone else wish to own, that is totally a personal choice, so your statement that 'Breeders should practise what they preach & only keep one breed themselves' is foreign to me, perhaps you meant that for someone else... If any of my puppies go to live in homes with other dogs, thats fantastic, dogs love to be with other dogs, so a Lhasa & a Shih Tzu would be perfect company for each other!
How perfect for you to have managed to give a rescue Shih Tzu a wonderful home! One breed down & one to go, perhaps you may even find a Lhasa Apso to complete your family. |

Thankyou Judy, thought the website was due for a revamp, and it will all take a while, but I think its coming along really well. There will be lots of changes to the site, and we have got a lot of additions to make :) We wish you and Eddie all the best for 2009, hope you have heaps of success in the show ring x |
